Every time you play online poker you’re paying up to 5% of each pot to the online poker room. This money – the rake – is how the online poker site makes their money that allows them to operate the business.

But did you know you could get some of this rake back?

See, online poker rooms get a large percentage of their players through affiliates. These affiliates put up poker websites and advertise on behalf of the online poker rooms. In exchange for the advertising the online poker site gives the affiliate a percentage of the total rake generated by the customers the website sends to them. Typically, this percentage can range from 30% all the way up to 60% of the total rake you pay!

If you signed up through clicking on a banner or a link on an affiliate website that affiliate is collecting 30% – 60% of all the rake you’re paying. And they’re not giving a penny of it back to you!

Let’s put that in perspective. If you’re a $1/$2 Full Limit player, playing 2 tables a session, and averaging 2 hours a day, the affiliate is collecting $1500 – $3000 a year from the online poker site for having referred you.

Let’s look at how Rakeback Report can help you can get some of that rake back in your pocket.

Some affiliates like Rakeback Report cut you in on the deal. Sign up with Rackback Report and we’ll give you the lion’s share of what the online poker site is paying us. Thus why we call it rackback. Most of the rake goes back to you.

Really, it’s that simple.

Just browse our offerings and pick a program that suits you. Create an account on Rakeback Report and carefully follow the instructions on how to sign up at the online poker room of your choice. Then come back here to Rakeback Report and tell us the username you signed up under and we’ll begin tracking how much rake you generate.

At the end of the month (most online poker rooms pay monthly) Rakeback Report splits our take with you and we deposit the rakeback back in your account.

So how much rakeback can you get?

Well, that’s going to depend on the online poker site and how much rake you generate. Typically, 30% – 35% is the normal percentage that the online poker site pays out.

So, let’s say an online poker room is paying out 30% and you rake $1000 a month (you can check out approx how much you pay in rake using the rakeback calculator in the left nav). That means that $300 is paid back Rakeback Report and we would then give you $270 rakeback of the $300 and keeping $30 as our cost of business.

So what’s the catch?

Well, really, none. Although you do need to be aware that things like bonuses and stuff you purchase in the online poker site’s store are often (but not always – depends on the online poker site and their rules) deducted from what the sites call Monthly Gross Revenue (MGR) or Net Generated Revenue (NGR) which is the basis of how we calculate rakeback. Suffice it to say, if the poker room deducts it from your MGR/NGR neither you nor Rakeback Report will get paid on that rake.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t get rackback, bonuses, and other promotions. In fact, almost all the online poker rooms promoted here on Rakeback Report offer sign up and other bonuses that you are free to take advantage of.

It just means that while you earn off your bonus or participate in certain types of promotions the online poker room may deduct the costs out of the MGR/NGR. Either way you’re almost certainly better off clearing a bonus AND having rakeback than doing one or the other alone.

Plus there’s a plus . . .

Not only that but from time to time we have special promotions especially for Rakeback Report players. You can take advantage of rake races and other programs that could potentially pay you out even more. And the best part is because it’s not being offered out of the online poker site’s pocket it doesn’t come out of your MGR/NGR.
