If you’re a Sit n Go specialist this weekend could be very profitable for you if you’re playing at Full Tilt Poker. The second largest online card room is offering their SnG Madness Promo this weekend. All you have to do is earn points which will be ranked on a leaderboard and the top spots get prizes.
It’s a little late notice if you have weekend plans but if not, get ready to start playing at 16:00 ET Friday (Dec 4) evening and go mad until 16:00 ET Sunday night (Dec 6). There’s $125,000 in cash and prizes up for grams – including entry into the $50k Madness freeroll. Just look in the SnG tab for the tournaments highlighted in green.
The SnG Madness weekend will be split into 24 two hour blocks (48 hours total for those of you reaching for a calculator). Buy-in levels will be split into 4 levels and there will be a leaderboard for each buy-in group level for each 2 hour block. The top 7 on the leaderboard will be paid at the end of each two hour block.
The buy-in groups are broken down as follows:
Group A – $1 to 2 Sit n Go’s
Group B – $5 to 11 Sit n Go’s
Group C – $20 to $33 Sit n Go’s
Group D – $50 to $110 Sit n Go’s
The payouts are as follows:
1st place $20 $100 $200 $500
2nd place $12.50 $60 $125 $300
3rd place $7.50 $40 $75 $200
4th place $5 $25 $50 $125
5th place $2.50 $12.50 $25 $60
6th place $1.50 $7.50 $15 $40
7th place $1 $5 $10 $25
For example, if you placed first in the A group you would receive $20. If you placed 7th in the D group you would receive $25.
Sound good? Wait, there’s even more (now I feel like the ghost of Billy Mays): There’s an overall leaderboard for the full 48 hour period and the top two finishers in each group level will receive an entry into a $5000 SnG freeroll.
And if you order now . . . there’s also a raffle for merchandise from the Full Tilt store, satellite tokens, or tournament dollars. All you have to do is cash in any of the Madness tournaments and you get a ticket. The more times you cash the more tickets you get.
But we’re not done yet . . . you can also win a seat into the $50K guarantee if you win two tournaments during the Madness period. With $5K expected to go to first place that’s not a bad deal.
