One area that all online poker sites can improve upon is making sure someone doesn’t hijack your account. It’s not a huge problem but it has happened from time to time and even some big name players have fallen victim. Ultimate Bet is attempting to help solve that problem by allowing players to select a PIN that would be required when logging in and after 30 minutes of inactivity while logged into the site. By forcing players to enter a PIN number in addition to username and password it adds an extra level of protection for the account holder.
This new security feature is voluntary and you’ll need to activate it to get started. While logged into the software click on “Account Info” and then “Update Profile.” On that page you should see a link that says “Secure ID PIN.” Click on the link and submit the PIN that you want to use.
